Giuliano and Marzia Bianchi from Lubiam awarded by Lions and Rotary for their commitment to charity

The Bianchi family has been awarded with two illustrious recognitions from Lions Club International and Rotary Club for their commitment to charity work and social responsibility.



The Lions 108 lb2 Ward, which includes the districts of Mantua, Brescia and Bergamo, has conferred their highest honour, the “Melvin Jones Fellowship” to Marzia Monelli Bianchi for her engagement in managing the Mantuan Centro Aiuto alla Vita:

the association, which she leads as President, has been working in Mantua since 1981 and is registered to Volunteering Organizations, Family Solidarity Associations, Women's Associations, Help For Life Centres and Centres for Non-Violence regional books.

Furthermore, the Rotary Club has also awarded Giuliano Bianchi, President of Lubiam, and wife Marzia of the honour of “Rotarian Spouse/Partner Service Award”, a recognition that is conferred to couples who stand out for their humanitarian commitment.

The Mantuan Rotary Club is part of Ward 2050, that includes clubs over Brescia, Cremona, Pavia, Piacenza, Lodi and Milan. Giuliano and Marzia were the only couple awarded among the entire Ward 2050, together with other 100 couples awarded simultaneously all over the word.
