Light, versatile and exclusive, the new L.B.M.1911 2016 Spring Summer Collection is the perfect balance between traditional quality tailoring and innovation. This season’s collection is enhanced with the addition of a range of outerwear and must-have accessories for an exclusive total look.
As usual, L.B.M.1911 bespoke fabrics are the result of painstaking research into composition and pattern.
Among the latest new trends:
o Statement jackets inspired by ancient Japanese Shibori
fabric dyeing techniques
o Frisè yarns
with a light springy hand that recall natural sea sponge, but are extremely lightweight and surprisingly soft to the touch.
o Gleaming iridescent effects
, created with linen or mohair blends for extra shine.
o Very deep waffle knit
effect, highly elastic, full-bodied, fluid fabric.
o Cotton crêpe
, summer weight, in micro-pattern and Glen-plaid.
o Denim blue colour theme.
o Solid colour jackets customized with African inspired patterns
(in warm Havana, white and red tones) and Tennis style patterns
(navy, green, white, blue) for undercollars and internal detailing
with coordinated coloured buttons.
o Satin with a new twist
: cotton exterior, linen interior, extremely fine, slightly slubbed yarn.
Along with the new retail strategy with the recent opening of a flagship store in Via della Spiga, the L.B.M.1911 collection is focussing more strongly on a total look. As well as accessories (shirts, knitwear, and leather goods) created exclusively for the new boutique, the stylists have designed a customized outerwear range, the perfect complement to be worn over a jacket, protecting against the weather, while giving maximum comfort for cycling or motorbike riding.
The vest has become an essential in the fashionable male wardrobe, and is presented in several styles; prints and patterns, a match or contrast with the jacket, giving a slightly casual look with a slimming effect, combining practicality, comfort, and sophistication.
